OUTLINE OF PROJECT LOGISTICS

The development depends to an extent on how the various facets develop, each having its own rate of progress. These comprise funding, research (which ITSELF reqiures funding), educational system development and site development.
FUNDING
This should be pursued along ALL available channels with a view to securing short, medium and long-term finance. The short-term funding is required mainly for R&D and equipment; medium term to develop and launch the project and long-term to maintain and further develop it.
RESEARCH
Starting out as broad-based it should eventually narrow down to the point where there is a clear idea as to the nature of the SYSTEM, its DEVELOPMENT and deployment. As for the actual design see the following link DESIGN
The assessment of online EDU sites (BBC Skillswise etc.,) should produce notes on how they can be improved, where they succeed. Similarly, this can be done with Accessible sites (see note in DESIGN). A few appropriate 'beta'pages should be submited to the RNIB for assessment and notes made as to their evaluation. This requires research into other organisations criteria: WAI, DRC, W3C. After consideration an apraisal will be put on file.
