| Jeff pulled into the Kensington�s driveway around 11:30 am, and Ryann noticed that her family hadn�t come home from Boston. Jeff carried their bags inside and up to Ryann�s room, and Ryann went to use the bathroom. She joined Jeff in her room, and they decided to go lay by the pool to relax and talk. After changing into swimsuits, Jeff sat in a lawn chair, and Ryann sat between his legs, leaning her back on his chest. �So are we going to tell your parents?� Jeff asked. �Yes, we have to. My dad asked me about my foot last night at the show, and I told him I would explain when we got home. So he is going to be waiting for an explanation, and since I am not wearing the cast and using crutches anymore, that�s going to make him question me even more.� �Do you think that your father or brother will want to kill me?� �No, Jeff. Contrary to what you may think, my brother does like you. He just wants me to be happy, and he knows that you are what makes me happy. And my dad likes you too. The only person that has any kind of dislike thoughts is my mother. But she�s a bitch and she wants me with Chris. That just isn�t going to happen.� �So we�re really going to do this. We are going to have a baby. What do you think it will be, a boy or a girl?� Jeff asked as he rubbed his hand on Ryann�s belly. �It doesn�t really matter, as long as he or she is a healthy baby, but I�d really like to have a boy. From what my mother tells me, they are less of a hassle. What about you?� �I hadn�t really thought of it until now, I guess I�m leaning toward a boy.� �What about leaning toward a boy?� John asked as he walked out to the pool. �You�re home!� Ryann said as she got up out of the chair. Jeff followed. �Yeah, Carey and I are here, but Mom, Dad, and Jessica haven�t made it yet. We lost them on the Mass Pike. So what was that about a leaning toward a boy Jeff?� �Uh�� Jeff wasn�t rally sure what to say. Ryann interrupted and said, �Ok John, maybe you should sit down.� �Why?� John inquired. �Wait a minute.� Jeff said. �John, come with me for a second.� Ryann looked confused as Jeff and her brother walked over to the opposite side of the pool and started talking. They came back, and John said, �Now what were you going to tell me?� �What did the two of you just talk about?� Ryann asked. �Nothing.� Jeff said. �You�ll find out. I just asked John a question, that�s all.� �Something is up Jeff, I know it.� Ryann said. �It�s all good Ry. Don�t worry about it. So what did you want to tell me?� John inquired. �First of all, promise me you won�t kill Jeff.� �I promise you I won�t kill Jeff. What is going on Ryann?� �I didn�t wrestle last night because I just found out that I am pregnant.� �You are pregnant? Congratulations Ryann.� John said as he hugged his little sister. �I am glad that things are finally working out for you.� Ryann stood back from John and stared at him with a puzzled look on her face. �Are you alright?� She asked. �I am fine Ry.� �That is not the reaction I was expecting from you.� She said. �Sorry. Did you think I would be pissed?� John asked. �No, I don�t know. But mom and dad will be home soon, so don�t tell them. Jeff and I are going to later.� �OK.� John said, and walked into the house. �Ryann, do you want to go for a walk?� Jeff asked. �You�ve got to have some fields or woods around here somewhere.� �Sure, let�s just get some clothes on first.� Ryann and Jeff got dressed and drove up to the lake. They parked the car, and Ryann lead the way to a path that went through the woods and wrapped around the entire lake. They got to a bridge, and Jeff stopped. Ryann noticed, so she stopped and turned around. Jeff sat up on the railing of the bridge, and said, �Come here.� Ryann walked over to him, and he pulled her into his arms and hugged her. Then he kissed her. He looked deep into her eyes, and said, �You know that I love you with all of my heart, and I�ve told you before that I don�t want to be with anyone else.� �I love you too Jeff.� Ryann said. Jeff said, �Shhh.� And put his finger over Ryann�s lips. �I bought this for you yesterday morning in Boston.� Jeff pulled out the bag he�d been carrying around. He took a small velvet box out of the bag, and held it in his hand. �When you came up and started talking to me at that party was the moment I knew that you were the one I was going to spend the rest of my life with. I love you Ryanna Kensington�� Jeff opened the box and inside was a Tulip set-Princess cut one-karat diamond engagement ring, set in 24 karat gold. Ryann looked down into the box, and tears started forming in her eyes. She looked back up at Jeff, and he smiled. �Will you marry me?� Ryann looked at the ring, and then back at Jeff. �Just say yes Ryann, you�ve waited your whole life for this. What are you waiting for? Say it.� She thought to herself. �Yes Jeff, I will marry you.� She finally managed to get out as a tear rolled down her cheek. Jeff took the ring out of the box, and slid it on the ring finger of Ryann�s left hand. He jumped off the railing and pulled Ryann into his arms and he kissed her. Jeff looked down into Ryann�s eyes, and said, �So we�re having a baby and getting married. What more could I ask for?� Ryann just wrapped her arms around Jeff and said, �I love you so much Jeff.� After their moment, they finished walking the trail and went back to the car. They drove back to the house, and noticed that her parents were home form Boston. Jeff parked the car, and Ryann stopped him from getting out and said, �When we go in, we have to tell them. And I�ll do it, but you�ve got to be there with me.� �Of course I will be. Now and forever we are a team, and we�re in this together.� Jeff leaned over and kissed Ryann, and they both got out of the car. Jeff took Ryann�s hand and they walked in the house together. The entire family was out back at the pool, so Ryann and Jeff went to join them. �They�re home!� Jess yelled out as she ran over to her sister. �So is your foot better? I see that you�re not wearing the air cast anymore.� �Ryann looked at Jeff, and then turned back to her sister and said, �Nothing was ever wrong with my ankle, I just faked the injury so I wouldn�t have to wrestle.� �Why would you not want to wrestle Ryanna?� Doug inquired. �Well Dad, I won�t be wrestling for awhile.� �Why? Didn�t they give you a contract?� Jess asked. �Stop asking questions and let me tell you. The reason that I won�t be wrestling for awhile is because I am pregnant.� Ryann looked at her parents for their reaction. Her father stood up and walked over to her and Jeff and embraced his daughter. �Congratulations Honey.� Doug said. �I wasn�t expecting that reaction from you Dad.� Ryann said. �Well, you are 25 years old, and I just want you to be happy.� Doug told his daughter. �You mean I�m going to be an aunt?� Jess asked. �Yes, Jess.� Ryann said. Everyone in the family was really happy about the good news Ryann and Jeff had. And after everyone congratulated the both of them, Jeff said, �Wait, there�s more.� �There�s more?� Jess asked. �Yes, I also asked Ryann to marry me, and she said yes.� Everyone looked at Ryann�s hand, and saw the diamond that Jeff had just given her. Of course, her mother, sister, and sister-in-law immediately had to check it out. John and Doug walked over to Jeff to congratulate him. |
