| Ryann woke up the next morning to the smell of her mother�s home cooking. She slipped out from under Jeff�s arm, and climbed out of bed. She threw on a pair of shorts, and leaned down and kissed Jeff on his forehead as he slept. Ryann was feeling nauseous, and she ran to the bathroom and threw up. She felt so much better afterwards, so she went downstairs to the kitchen, where her mother was cooking breakfast, and her father was at the table reading the paper. Her younger sister Jessica was also at the table, eating her breakfast. She noticed Ryann walk in and jumped out of her chair and ran to give her sister a hug. �Ryanna! You�re home!� �Hey Jess! Shouldn�t you be at softball practice already?� �I don�t have to be there until nine-thirty.� �Good morning mom, dad.� �Good morning sweetie.� Her father said. �How was the drive?� �Long�we got here about three o�clock.� �We?� Jessica inquired. �Who did you bring?� �Jessica,� Her mother said. �I told you your sister was bringing her boyfriend.� �You mean that Jeff is in our house?� Jessica asked. �Yes, but he is still sleeping, so don�t get too excited.� Ryann replied. �Chris isn�t going to like that.� Jessica stated. �It doesn�t matter what Chris likes or doesn�t. We haven�t been together in six months, and he needs to move on.� �Don�t get all huffy Ry; all I am saying is that Chris is going to be upset.� �Let him!� Ryann said, raising her voice. �I don�t care about Chris anymore.� �So let�s change the subject.� Ryann�s mother said. �Go wake Jeff up and ask him if he�d like some breakfast Ryanna. I would like to meet this boy.� �Mom, we didn�t get home until real late, and I am sure he is tired.� �Ryanna Elisabeth, your father has to leave for work soon, so go wake him up!� Ryann rolled her eyes, and headed back upstairs to her room. Her sister was right on her tail. She got to her door, and turned around. �Jessica, what are you doing?� �I want to meet him!� �Go back downstairs! You can meet him when I bring him down!� Ryann said, yelling at her sister. �Fine!� Jessica turned around and stomped back down the stairs. Ryann opened the door and walked over to the bed. Jeff rolled over and opened his eyes. �Good morning Jeff.� �Where did you go? And what smells so good?� �I went downstairs to say hello, and my mom is cooking breakfast. She wants you to come downstairs and eat.� �That�s cool.� Jeff said, and sat up in the bed. �Will you grab my shorts?� Ryann picked Jeff�s shorts up off the floor and handed them to him. He stood up and put them on. �Should I put a shirt on?� �Not if you don�t want to.� Jeff grabbed his shirt and threw it on, and said, �I guess it�s time to meet the parents�� Ryann took Jeff�s hand, and she led him downstairs. Before they went into the kitchen, Ryann stopped and turned to Jeff. �My parents will probably be cool, but my little sister may freak on you.� �She�ll freak?� Jeff asked. �She is absolutely in love with you. She never misses a night of Raw.� �Ok, so she�s a fan.� �That�s an understatement. So are you ready?� �As ready as I�ll ever be.� Jeff said. Ryann turned back around and walked into the kitchen, holding Jeff�s hand. �Mom, Dad, Jess, this is Jeff. Jeff, this is my mother Elisabeth, my father Doug, and this is my little sister, Jessica.� �It�s very nice to finally meet you.� Jeff said, as he shook each of their hands. Ryann always talks about you.� �It�s a pleasure to meet you too Jeff.� Doug said. �I trust you�ve been taking good care of my little girl.� �Always�� Jeff replied. �Sit down Jeff, and have some breakfast.� Elisabeth said, as she set a plate of food on the table. Jeff sat down, and Ryann sat next to him. Her mother brought her a plate, and the both of them silverware, but Ryann said she wasn�t hungry. Jeff started eating, and Jessica asked, �So how exactly did you meet my sister?� �Well,� Jeff said, as he set down his fork. �We met officially at the party after the Tough Enough 3 ceremony. But then we saw each other at the hotel afterwards, and became friends.� �Jess, let him eat.� Elisabeth said. �It�s ok, I don�t mind.� Jeff stated. �So Jessica, Ryann tells me you�re a big fan.� Jessica�s face got real red. �Yeah, I am. My friends are not going to believe me when I tell them you�re here.� �Please don�t do that Jess; the whole town will be here knocking the door down.� �Ryann, they�ll be here anyway, once they know you�re in town.� Doug said. �You�re a big star now!� �Oh stop.� Ryann said. �I am not a big star.� �Jenni called asking about you the other day Ryann,� her mother said. �I told her you were going to come home soon, so you should give her a call.� �I�ll have to do that.� Ryann responded. �So Jeff,� Jessica said. �Are you in love with Ryann, or can I hope that one day you�ll fall in love with me?� �Jessica Marie!� Ryann yelled. �What?� �SHUT UP!� �It�s ok Ryann, I am more than happy to tell your sister, and the whole world for that matter, that I am absolutely head over heals in love with you, and only you.� Jeff stated, and leaned over and kissed his girlfriend. �Damn�� Jessica said under her breath. �Well,� Doug said. �I am off to work. It was very nice to meet you Jeff, and I am looking forward to talking to you later.� �It was nice to meet you too, Mr. Kensington.� Jeff replied. �Please Jeff, call me Doug. Well, have a nice day everyone.� �Bye Dad.� Ryann said, and gave her father a hug. Doug left, and Jessica was out the door right behind him. She bolted back inside, and said, �Ryann, when did you get a corvette?� �It�s not my car Jess, it is Jeff�s.� �It�s phat! Can I drive it?� �I�ll think about it Jessica.� Jeff said. �Bye Jess.� Ryann said, and shooed her sister out the door. Jeff finished his breakfast, and he and Ryann did the dishes for Ryann�s mother so she could get ready for work. They were just finishing up when Elisabeth came downstairs, and grabbed her purse. �Your brother should be home time today, so make sure you leave a key under the mat so he and your sister-in-law can get in when they arrive.� �Ok mom.� Ryann said. �Have a good day.� �You too kids. It was nice to finally meet you Jeff.� �You too.� Jeff said, as Ryann�s mom walked out the door. |
