| Jeff and Ryann drove all day, until they made it to the Vermont state line. It was 2:30 in the morning, and Jeff was starting to fall asleep at the wheel. He pulled over and opened the door. �You�ve got to drive Ryann, I am falling asleep.� �Ok Jeff.� Ryann said as she slid into the driver�s seat. Jeff walked around the car and got in on the passenger�s side. �How much further is it?� He asked her. �About twenty minutes." Ryann told him. �I�ll try not to fall asleep�� Jeff said. Ryann pulled out and headed down the road toward home. �Do your parents know we�re coming tonight?� Jeff asked. �Yes darling, they know we are coming. I called my mother before you got up this morning, and told her that we would be up tonight, but it would be late.� �Just checking�� Jeff closed his eyes, and within seconds, he was asleep. Ryann switched the CD in the radio, and continued driving. Ryann pulled into her parents' driveway, and shut off the car. She looked over at Jeff, and he was sound asleep. She put her hand on his leg, and shook him a little. �Jeff�Jeff�� She repeated, until he opened his eyes. �We�re here sleepyhead.� Jeff sat straight up in his seat, and looked at the house. From what he could see, it was a pretty large house, and looked very well kept up. The only light was the motion light that was on the garage, which turned on when they pulled in the driveway. The house was dark. �Nobody is up.� He said, still half asleep. �It�s ok, I have a key. Let�s just grab our bags in the morning. I am too tired to carry them.� �Ok�� Jeff said. The two of them got out of Jeff�s car, and Ryann locked the doors. Jeff waited, and followed Ryann up the steps, and into the house. Ryann showed Jeff where the bathroom was, and then she showed him to her bedroom door. �Remember, the last time I was here, I worshiped you�� She opened her bedroom door, and Jeff�s eyes widened and almost popped out of his head. He walked into the room, and took a quick look around. �Wow babe, you weren�t kidding.� Everywhere you looked was a picture or poster or autograph of Matt and Jeff, not to mention all of the apparel she owned. Jeff was baffled. �So are you ready to sleep?�Ryann asked. �More than ever.� Jeff said as he fell onto the bed. Ryann opened one of her dresser drawers, and grabbed a t-shirt, and changed. She climbed into the bed. Jeff stripped to his boxers, and got under the covers with Ryann. She reached over and turned off the light. �Will your parents freak out if I am in here with you?� Jeff asked his girlfriend. �They shouldn�t. Don't worry Jeff, everything is cool. Just go to sleep.� �Ok�� Jeff said. After a long pause, he said, �I love you Ry.� �I love you too Jeff. Goodnite.� �Goodnight.� Ryann snuggled up to Jeff and he wrapped his arms around her. He ran his fingers through her soft hair, until they both dozed off to sleep. |
