| It had been six months since Ryann had won a contract with the WWE, and she was now a full-fledged member of Team Extreme. She wasn�t training anymore, but she was on the road with Matt, Amy, and her boyfriend Jeff all the time. Matt and his girlfriend Lexi were still dating, and the two of them had become real serious, and she and Ryann had become the best of friends. Since Ryann had officially moved her things into Jeff�s bedroom, Matt decided to move in with them, and Lexi was always spending the night. So when the guys were off doing their brotherly thing, and just being guys, the girls would go shopping and watch soap operas and such. On one particular afternoon in Cameron, Matt and Jeff were riding their motocross bikes out back, and the girls were lying in the lawn chairs, soaking up the sun in their swim suits, and just about asleep. Matt decided to have some fun, so he filled up a huge bucket with some ice-cold water. He walked over to Lexi and dumped the water all over her, and managed to splash Ryann in the process. Both girls screamed and jumped up out of the chairs. Matt almost fell to the ground laughing. �You Asshole!� Lexi said to him, and smacked him in the back. She picked up her towel and started to dry off. Ryann glared at Matt, then looked over at her boyfriend, who was trying as hard as he could not to laugh. �You think that was funny, Jeff?� She asked. �No sweetie, it wasn�t funny at all.� Jeff said as he walked over to Ryann and pulled her into his arms. �Matt, that wasn�t very nice.� He said. �Jeff?� Matt said, raising his voice. �It was your idea, so don�t think I am the only one that is going to get in trouble.� �It doesn�t matter who told you to do it darling,� Lexi said. �You were the one who did it, and now I am going to have to kill you.� Lexi started chasing Matt around the yard, and Jeff was laughing at him. �Oh, don�t you even think that you are off the hook. I will get you back dear, just you wait.� �What did I do?� Jeff inquired, with a guilty look on his face. �You don�t know where, or when, but I will get you back.� Ryann replied. �I love you Ryann.� Jeff said in his sweetest, most innocent voice. �I love you too Jeffy, but you are still going to get it.� Ryann said matter-of-factly. Jeff leaned down and kissed his girlfriend. Then, all of a sudden, Lexi screamed, �AH-HA!� Ryann and Jeff turned and looked at her. She was sitting on top of Matt, and she had him pinned to the ground. �I may be a female, but I�ll still beat your ass Matthew Hardy!� �Would you really hon?� Matt asked. �I would really like that, ya know.� �You�re sick Matt.� Lexi replied, as she stood up. She grabbed Matt�s hands and helped him to his feet. Matt pulled Lexi into his arms and they kissed. �I really do love you Lex.� �I love you too Matt.� �Awe�� Ryann said. �Isn�t that cute.� �Hey.� Lexi responded. �We are no worse than the two of you.� �Anyway�� Ryann said, changing the subject. �So when are we leaving this week?� �We are going to be in Boston this week, right?� Matt asked. �Yes, you are.� Lexi said. �And we all get a nice long break�I can�t wait.� Jeff responded with enthusiasm. �I need to talk to you about that later Jeff.� Ryann stated. �You guys can talk now.� Matt said. �Lexi and I are going to take the four-wheeler up to the pond.� �Alright.� Jeff said. He took Ryann�s hand and led her into the house. They sat down on the couch. �So what�s up?� Jeff asked. �Well, I was talking to my mom the other day, and she asked when I was coming home. I just figured since we�re going to be on vacation after the show in Boston, I could go home for a week or so.� �You want to leave me for a whole week?� Jeff inquired with a saddened look on his face. �No Jeff, I want you to come to Vermont with me. I want you to meet my parents and friends. I want you to see my hometown, and where I grew up.� �Of course I will go with you. You had me scared for a second, I thought you wanted to go by yourself.� �No way. If I am going home to Vermont, I have to take you with me. Chris is there, and my mother says he still calls asking about me.� �You are my girl now, and I will set him straight on that if I have to.� Jeff said matter-of-factly. �So, should we just drive to Boston instead of flying?� Ryann asked her boyfriend. �That�s fine, so we�ll just tell Lexi and Matt that we are leaving tomorrow. That will give us three days to get up there, and we won�t have to rush.� Ryann leaned over to Jeff and kissed him. �You are too damn good to me, you know that honey?� �I�d do anything to make you happy Ry, I love you.� �I love you to Jeff.� Jeff and Ryann kissed again. �Well, if we are leaving tomorrow, then I�m going to go start packing�� Ryann stood up and went into their room; Jeff followed her. He dragged the large suitcases out of the closet, and Ryann was grabbing her clothes out of the dresser. They filled both suitcases, and Ryann still had more to pack. �Honey, how long do you plan on staying there, a year?� Jeff inquired. �No, I was thinking more like a week. But you know that I always over pack.� �Ryann, we have two huge suitcases full, what more do we need?� �You just hush, and go pack up the things I need from the bathroom. I love you darling�� Ryann said, and gave Jeff one of her innocent smiles. �Yeah, yeah�� Jeff replied as he headed to the bathroom. Ryann grabbed the smaller suitcases that she and Jeff use when on the road, and finished putting her clothes into them. Jeff returned with the things from the bathroom, and Ryann threw them into the suitcase. She turned to Jeff and asked, �So are we taking your Vette or the Rav4?� �I�d like to take the Vette, it will be a faster ride.� �Yeah, the way you drive.� �You don�t like the way I drive Hon?� Jeff asked. �I never said that Jeff, I just asked which vehicle you wanted to take. So the Vette it is. Let�s pack this stuff in there, that way we can just head out in the morning.� �Ok dear�� |
