~ Chapter Five ~
Ryann had her Toyota Rav4 packed with her things and ready to make the 15-hour drive to North Carolina. She said goodbye to her parents, siblings, and friends, and was pulling out of the driveway when she saw Chris truck pull in. He pulled up right in front of her vehicle, and walked over to her window. Ryann, I am so sorry, for everything. Cant we move past this?
Chris, its over. I am moving on with my life, and you should do the same.
Come on! You cant tell me that you dont love me.
I never said I didnt love you Chris, but I cant do this anymore. I have an awesome opportunity right now, and I cannot pass it up. You need to give me some time and space. Then maybe we can try and work things out, but not now. My focus needs to be WWE right now.
"That is what your focus has been since the first day we got together. Why cant you put us first?
Chris, Ryann explained. You knew from day one that this is what I wanted to do. If you cant accept that, then you need to forget about me and move on. I am doing this with or without your approval.
Where are you going to stay Ryann? Have you thought of that?
I have made arrangements Chris, so dont worry about it. Dont worry about me. Look, Ive got to go. Ill call you, ok?
Without waiting for a response, she backed up and pulled out around Chris truck, and left.

Ryann had been driving for what seemed like forever. It was now well after dark and she was getting extremely tired. She pulled Jeffs number out of her wallet and dialed his number on her cellular phone.
Yo! Youve reached Jeffs number. How may I direct your call?
   Hi, umis Jeff there?
Hes busy riding his motorcycle, the female voice on the other end of the line answered. Can I do something for you?
Yes, Ryann replied. Im in Cameron, but I dont know how to get to his house. Can you help me?
First you must tell me who you are. I cant be giving out directions to just any female who calls Jeff.
Look, can you just let me talk to Jeff? Ryann asked, somewhat impatiently.
Hold on. The girl said. She covered the phone and screamed, JEFF! PHONE!
It took a few moments, but finally Ryann heard Who is it?
I dont know. She was kind of pushy though, replied the girl who answered.
Jeff picked up the phone and said Hello?
Hi Jeff. Im sorry to bother you so late, but you told me to call when I got to Cameron, and I am here.
Ryann? Is that you?
Yeah. So how do I get to your house? Ryann said, as she pulled into a convenience store.
Hold on a sec, ok?
   Sure.
Jeff covered the phone and said, Shut up! Im on the phone. He then put the phone back up to his ear and said, Where are you?
I am at the Qwic Shop on Route 24.
Ok, just hang out there for a few minutes and I will be right there. Then Ill just have you follow me. Jeff said, with enthusiasm.
Alright, Ill see you in a few minutes.
They both hung up the phones. Ryann went into the store to get a coffee. Jeff grabbed his keys and headed toward the car. Where are you going at this hour Jeff? Matt asked.

Im going to show Ryann how to get here.
   Shes in Cameron? Amy asked.
Yes, I told her she could stay with me until she found an apartment. Look, Ill talk to yall when I get back, shes waiting for me.
Jeff jumped into his car and pulled out of the driveway. Matt and Amy looked at each other. Amy said, He tore out of here awfully quick. What was that all about?
Im not sure, Matt said as he scratched his head. He must have the hots for her or something.
