After so much fun with fiberglass, epoxy, and foam, it sure felt good to be back home in the workshop. The one on the left is original, right is my creation. It is an exact duplicate, except it fits better, corners are rounder, and there is an additional cross brace for added strength. Finished with epoxy to make it waterproof. |

Um...just in case??? It came with the boat, but was just as grey as the ski hatch in the pic above. Instead of building a new paddle, I just sanded down the original and coated it with epoxy. |

The padding is ready. I originally planned to replace the vinyl, until I found saw the cost of new vinyl. Cleaned and reassembled on new mounting boards, it's not perfect but more than acceptable. |

Take a close look, and you can see a strip of masking tape from 1" off the floor, verticla to the windshield, out to the starboard bow rail, and along the inside of the starboard seat back. These are the extents of the paint to cover the impossible-to-remove stains. |

Check out the gas tank cover...in place. Yes, the grain runs 90 degrees to the floorboard grain. It all gets painted anyway. |
