I started out with a robot anime, I'll end with a robot anime. Ladies and gentlemen my top 5th anime, the (hopefully not) last Gundam series! What is it? It's Gundam SEED Destiny.
Gundam , a robot series made by Sunrise, was always a mainstream anime legend that showed us the ins and outs of wars, space or otherwise. It showed us the emotions going on in the minds of people in war and how war is easily resolved because of the power of the human spirit.
Gundam SEED Destiny continues after Gundam SEED, where the harsh army of Zaft still refuses to have a peace treaty with the new found space colonies. Enter the new SEED pilot, Shin Asuka along with the Impulse Gundam and support from veterans Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala, they continue to battle for a better tomorrow in the universe. The series shows off the might of newfound technology and new Gundams which will surely interest robot fanatics because of originality. The story is remniscient to the original Gundam SEED with old friends and foes returning to settle their differences. If this were truly the last Gundam season, they would've what I call "ended with a bang."
