La Salle Greenhills: My 2nd Home

My life has always been green. Ever since prep school, I've been in a Lasallian campus. What particular campus am I referring to? Why La Salle Greenhills of course! Just ask my former classmate, now blockmate Jet Jimenez.

La Salle Greenhills, located in the county of Mandaluyong in Ortigas Avenue, it stands out as one of the best schools in the region. Consisting of prep levels to High School, this is where I graduated. This is where I grew up. Every nook and cranny of the school were like my house's own walls to me. This is where I learned on how to be true Christian and our ideals of Religio,Mores,Cultura. The individual "zones" of each grade level are separated into separate area, each with teir own cafeterias and gyms. In the center of the campus stands the St.Benilde gym/cafeteria where I spent my High School breaks. This is what stands out in the school besides the great atmosphere the students have with each other and with the teachers. Of course an upper field (for Beach Volleyball, Baseball, and Track & Field) and lower field (for Soccer and Field Demos) are found here. Near the HS building lies the Brothers' Bldg, where Retreats and Holy missions are occasionaly held. What can I say? I felt that LSGH was the perfect home. Now that I've graduated from the school, I wish to make DLSU another perfect comfort zone.

Now I'll tell you about the company I used to stay with here. I was the "leader" of a barkada of 3. You can count me as the 1st, for more about me though, please visit the specific page on my behalf... Anyway, the 2nd member was my childhood friend from prep school, Chris Jason Barredo otherwise known as Polo. He is like me same interests and general likes. He was the one who introduced me to so many things. He is one person who can be very fun to be with or can be hard time depending on his mood for the day. But generally, he is a happy person and I like him for that. My 3rd barkadamate is Anton R. Bunag, one who I would like to call "Youthmeister". He is someone who wouldn't talk about academics at all. What does he talk about all the time? Anime, videogames, movies.....that's it. He will rarely talk about current issues and the like. Anton is well known in the ENTIRE batch because of his immaturity, but this doesn't change the way we look at him. To us he's just like a makulit little brother. That's it for my barkada, nothing much.

Lastly, I'll tell you about the teachers in my Senior Year (sorry I don't have the luxury of time to do my other teachers). First off is my previous Homeroom adviser Ms.Filomena Castillo. She was also my English teacher who taught us Greek Mythology, Inferno and various grammar and reading techniques. Next up is our physics teacher, Ms.Yky. She was the teacher who made the relativity of physics so much fun. Next up is Ms.Thess. She was our Filipino teacher that could relate to us like a barkada. She taught us El Filibusterismo and the pamanahong papel. Next is Sir.Remiter, our economics teacher. Though boring, we also respected him as a good teacher. Next is Sir.David, the math "wizard" as I would like to call him. Though many of the topics he taught were DIFFICULT, it certainly made me more "Math ready". Lastly is Sir.Cheto, the man in black who taught us Religion. He seriously never wore another colored shirt other than black. He was also my teacher in the Anime club, for those who often see those brochures in certain churches, he was the one who drew the illustrations. That's it for teachers and barkada, when time is with me, this site shall be extremely updated.
