Hiroshima

Formerly known as the Industrial Promotion Hall until August 6th, 1945 when it became the A-Bomb Dome.

Hiroshima-jo, originally built in 1589 by Mori Terumoto, one of Toyotomi Hideyoshi's council of "Five Great Elders.".

Miyajima is an island close to Hiroshima. It used to be that visitors of the island had to enter the island through this floating torii gate.

I finally broke down and played pachinko, not as fun as it looks.

Shukkei-en. This garden's name literally means 'shrunk' and it attempts to re-create grand vistas in miniature.

These guys are the most annoying part of living in Japan. They drive around blaring traditional Japanese music and preaching about Japanese nationalism.
