ONE MONTH PRIOR TO MOVING:

� Let everyone who's anyone know that you are moving
� Send out cards that provide your new mailing address and contact information.
� Be sure to fill out a change of address form at the post office and give your new location.
� Get packing. Box up things you do not use on a day-to-day basis.
� Choose a moving company. Make sure they are licensed, bonded, and insured.
� Have a back-up plan if ever that compagny does not respect their contract

TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO MOVING:

� Notify utility company.
Begin service at your new residence the day before you are to move in,
And end servics the day after you have moved from you old residence.

Remember to contact all utility companies.

� Phone companies
� Sanitation company
� Water, electric, and gas
� Cable

ONE WEEK PRIOR TO MOVING:

� Finish packing
� Label each box with contents and the room in which the items were packaged from.
This will save time when you begin unpacking.

DAY BEFORE MOVING:

� Obtain the key from your new residence.
� Confirm the move with your realtor and the moving company.
� Do a walk through and make sure you have not left anything behind.
� Get a good night sleep, tomorrow is a big day.
