About Jeff Hall

How it all began...
Jeff Hall began playing the saxophone in the fourth grade and by the time he was twelve years old he knew that he wanted to be a professional musician. Even at such a young age he knew that the Lord had given him this talent and that he would use it throughout his life to glorify God.

The high school years....
Jeff continued his studies in highschool by attending the Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High. During his senior year he won the Florida Orchestra's "Young Artist's Competition", The Clearwater Jazz Holiday's "Scholarship for Young Jazz Artists" and the Al Downing Tampa Bay Jazz "Scholarship for Young Jazz Artists". In 1993 he graduated from PCCA with a "Cache of Distinction" and the "Eikon Award: The Instrumentalists Image".

The college years....
Upon high school graduation Jeff received a full scholarship to attend the University of North Florida, followed by a year at the University of North Texas where he also received a scholarship. In June of 2001 he completed his Bachelors in Jazz Studies from the University of South Florida, where he was awarded the highest musical scholarship given, The Manfredo Fest Scholarship. In December 2002 he completed his Masters degree in Saxophone Perfomance at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. Jeff is now stationed at Langley Air Force Base where he is a member of the United State Air Force's Heritage of America Band.

The ministry....
The Lord continues to bless Jeff and his desire to serve Him with his saxophone. The release of his first instrumental worship recording, "At His Feet", marks the beginning of an exciting new ministry of serving the Lord with music.
