The SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) is an odd entity that is difficult to describe. At one end of the spectrum, it consists of people (like me) who are interested in the nuts and bolts of premodern life: how did they do what they did? There are a fair number of amateur experimental archaeologists in the Society, and some of them have done some exceptional work. At the other end of the spectrum, the SCA consists of people (like me) who are interested in socializing.
This is my main SCA page. Right now I'm working on my main project is period music and contrafacts, and fighting (see my fighting blog), but I'm also working on a fundraising idea.
