For 2002, Camp Jeep in the Ozarks was everything I expected it to be. After the tedious 12 hour drive from southern Louisiana, the rolling hills of Branson, Missouri were more than welcoming. With this year being my first camp jeep, I was excited, and filled with eager anticipation. I couldn't wait to see what was in store. It was hot, but thankfully, im very used to the heat! Events ranged from flying remote controlled airplanes, to scooba, to basketweaving. There was so much to do, I didn't know where to start. I ended up spending most of my time checking out the incredible Jeep museum, and drooling over all of the cool parts in the engineering tent. The concepts also caught my eye, even though I didn't think very highly if an electric Jeep car. Ugh! I didn't get to test drive the Rubicon or any of the other Jeeps available at Jeep 101, but that was okay because I was getting ready to hit the trails! The trail rides were fun and well-balanced. The easy trails were simple scenic, but level 9 and 10 were enough to give anyone a rush. Beware, if you dont have a lift, prepare for carnage! From insanely steep climbs to breathtaking views, the trailrides made the trip! Now I just have to wait until next year!
