Dear Mr. President,

I am greatly offended by your administration treatment of Mr. Edward Moskal, President of the Polish American Congress, who had been invited to a meeting scheduled on May 22 at 4:00 PM by Mr. Cameron Muter, Director for Europe and Eurasia of the National Security Council. On the morning of May 22 the Washington Office of the Polish American Congress was informed that Mr. Moskal was excluded from the meeting on the intervention of a high official of the Department of State. It has been a tradition that each US President gives the Polish American Congress an opportunity to share with his administration our ethnic group's concerns relating to United States policy towards Poland. Mr. Moskal, as the President of the Polish American Congress, represents all of us and he was rudely, on moment's notice, excluded from the meeting. Therefore he was subject to discrimination Mr. President, someone in the Department of State is conducting his/her own policy.
I am asking you, Mr. President to correct this. This official in the Department of State should express words of apology to the entire American Polish community and to Mr. Edward Moskal personally.
