| The "Perfect Man" Wish List: My mom says that the perfect man doesn't exist, or rather, that Jesus is dead. I don't think I ask for much... Confidence. Doesn't worry about what everyone else is doing or thinking or saying. Has a strong sense of self, doesn't run away from problems, doesn't have a huge ego or a penis inferiority complex. Doesn't have to prove to be a man cuz he just is one. That kind of confident. Communication. Listen, talk, hear, converse, share thoughts, express emotions, don't hold things back, don't push them deep down only to explode later. If you have a problem, say it. If you're pissed, be communicative enough to explain it rationally. Don't throw tantrums or break things or slam doors like a 5-year old cuz you don't know how to express yourself in a constructive manner. Trust in keeping promises and believing in what you say is true. Disclose information and be open to discussion, debate, and disagreements. Outgoing. Keeping an open mind, trying new things, staying active and healthy, accept multi-culturalism, carrying conversations, meeting new people, sharing friends, dancing, karaoke, sports, exercise, have the ability to go clubbing one day and a brodway play the next. Have a strong family bond, a trusted group of friends, and no ex-girlfriend baggagge! Ambitious AND Smart. No more potential ambitions or smarts. Either you have it already or you don't. Ambitious means you'r WORKING (not wishing!) towards a goal in your professional and personal life, and you're already SMART enough (not could be smart enough) to get there and be successful in what you do. This also means that you know how to take care of your money, pay your bills, raise a family, and still have time to make me laugh. Spiritual. The idea that there is more to life than just being human beings. Everyone has their own ideas of what it's all bout, but to recognize that there is a higher power, that between black and white is A LOT of grey, and that no one really knows the answer to what happens after death. At least be able to celebrate Christian holidays. Love And Understanding. Considerate, understanding, affectionate, loving, romantic, sympathetic, comforting, no double standards, a true gentleman. Attractive. Great smile, warm eyes, masculine, prefer taller than me, fit, good hygiene, well-groomed, a strong upper-body (arms, chest, shoulders), medium build (so I don't feel like I'll break him), short clean hair, minimal/no facial hair, can dress well, strong legs and a strong ass. Doesn't take longer in the bathroom, doesn't blow-dry the little hair he has, doesn't have to buy expensive name brands to feel good about his image. understands the concept of lotion and deodorant, doesn't wax/pluck/wear more jewelry than me/look at himself in the mirror all the time/take forever to get ready.
