Analysis covered budgeting, finance, materials management, equipment, space utilization, organization, supervision, information system and manpower productivity. Developed manpower requirements by skill level for each department.
Health Central, Minneapolis, MN. February - June 1982. Developed model staffing plans for a hospital in Saudi Arabia, and developed model policy guidelines for shared services arrangements between hospitals.
Americana Health Care, Monticello, IL. August 1997 - December 1978. Administrator for two hospitals. Implemented cost containment programs for hospitals experiencing financial difficulty.
Lutheran Hospitals and Homes Society, Fargo, ND. March 1975 - August 1977. Developed long range plans for hospitals, including analysis of the requirements for beds, ancillary services, equipment and staff, procedures for a data base management program for 55 hospitals and 33 nursing homes to computerize data for Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Cross cost reports and operating statistics.
MESA Program, Denver, CO. 1969 - 1975. As Chief Executive managed Day-to-Day affairs of the program, coordinated services with other shared service organizations in five Mountain States and marketed consulting services to prospective client hospitals. Supervised a professional staff of 20.
Samaritan Health Services, Phoenix, AZ. January 1966 - December 1969. Implemented improvements in systems, and procedures and developed a formal forms control program. Conducted studies to determine appropriate staffing level, developed staffing and scheduling plans for all hospital departments.
