Welcome to the Animal/Food/Nut Database. ^_^
Okay, the rules for this Database are as follows:
- Players are welcome to adopt an animal or food nickname for as long as it is not currently in use by anyone in the game. This also includes those who already come with their own animal or food suffix. However if the name you come with has already been taken, sorry, but you'll have to choose another name.
Examples of the above would be yours truly, who has always been Bear, Leah who has always been Bat and Helen who has always been Sheep.
One person who had to choose another suffix was Josie because her usual suffix, Cookie, was already given to another player, Anore.
So yes, that rule has been in play since this thing started.
- The suffixes of those who have been booted/have left the game become free for use by those who are still in Marneons. The following suffixes are now available:
- Bean
- Blackberry
- Bun
- Bunni
- Kookaburra
- Peach
- Penguin
- Piglet
- Strawberry
- Waffle
- Here's where the change in this database begins.
The "oversight" I mentioned when I locked this database was the fact that originally, the nuts were given to us "chatroom whores" or more generally known as the "chat people". As was pointed out to me, those who were given nuts felt special because it became a sort of rite of passage and...I agree. I had forgotten that but when I looked back...yeah, it was true.
So...
From this point on, nut titles are not adoptable. The nuts will be bestowed on a player (yes, bestowed) by the Marneons High Council (composed of the moderators and a few Marneons players who have been here for ages) once a player is deemed to have earned it. It felt like a rite of passage then, and now, it really is.
