PLEASE NOTE: Although many of the evil characters in the KQ games performed magic of some kind, jean_matthews is not condemning any who do perform the magic arts. They should be accepted as any other belief should be.
Hagatha was the Bad Person in KQ2. She captured and held Valenice in a Crystal Tower on an Enchanted Isle, the only way to get there, through three locked doors located on the tropical kingdom of Kolyma. Hagatha is one of the most powerful and one of the evilest of all witches. After Graham rescued Valenice from Hagatha's evil clutches, the witch is never seen in King's Quest again, although it is said that Hagatha is the oldest sister of Mannanan and Mordack.
Manannan is the evil wizard that kidnapped Alexander in KQ3. This bad guy has a history of picking on young boys. Every seventeen years he would go out and find a young male child who could be his servent. After several bad experiences with boys he allowed to grow into men, whenever the boy reached his 16th birthday, Manannan would kill him. (Aye!! I have two years left!! j/k.) Alexander was, however, Manannan's greatest mistake, when the boy was almost at his sixteenth year, he secretly learned several of Manannan's spells, and turned him into a cat! Manannan returns again in KQ5, in his kitty form to reak revenge on Alexander and his family with the help of his brother, Mordack.
Lolotte is the Evil Faery from KQ4, who tried to kill the Faery Queen Genesta and kidnapped Edgar from his home as a baby. After being cast from Etheria for her evil deeds, she kidnapped Edgar, son of Oberon and Titania, changed his appearance and raised him as her own child, (not unlike Manannan did to Alexander). Lolotte took up residence in Tamir and began reeking havoc on another's life, the Faery Queen Genesta. Rosella, however, interfered and after preforming several tasks for the Faery, distroyed her and returned Tamir to it's proper order and Genesta to good health.
Mordack is the brother of both Manannan and Hagatha. In KQ5 he kidnaps King Graham's family and stores them along with their castle in a glass jar. (After shrinking them of course!) His motive?? To get the then Prince Alexander to return Manannan to his original form or he would feed Alexander and his family to the not so friendly cat Manannan. Among his many other evil deeds, he kidnapped Cassima and forced her to be his slave, unless she agreed to marry him. (And who would?!) This, however, was not such a bad occurance, since it did eventually bring the Prince and the Princess together. Naturally, King Graham defeated the Wizard by putting him out with rain water . . . literally. Later, in KQ6, it revealed that he is a member of the dark underworld, along with Alhazerad.
Alhazerad was the respected Vizier of Cassima's parents the King and Queen of the Land Of The Green Isles . . . until he viciously murdered them, that is. When Cassima returned from being captured by Mordack, he grasped the opportunity, locking her in the tower and claiming that she was in mourning. He then plotted to marry her, by using his genie to model himself as Cassima, then murder the real one, leaving him as King. His plans were foiled of course when Alexander brought Cassima's parents back from the dead and proving that Alhazerad was faking his own wedding. The Vizier came out injured, but living and was thrown in Castle's Prison. Before his eventual incarceration, he is known to have been a member of a dark cult, and to have been in communication with Mordack before his death.

She was the sister of Titania (any relation to Lolotte is unknown) and rose up with a group of fanatic followers to ambush Etheria. All of her followers either died or were banished from Etheria. She however would not give up and was eventually defeated, banished and stripped of her powers. By the time Edgar had been returned to his parents, Malicia had her powers again and kidnapped the Prince, wiping his memory and changing him into the form of the Troll King. Malicia was eventually defeated again by Rosella, who used a device to reverse the aging process and throw Malicia back to being a toddler. Her sister Titania, plans on raising her properly.
