Daniel is June's eldest son, my eldest Grandchild (Brian has grandchildren from 3 daughters from a previous marriage)he is now 14, and don't we know it. This last year he seems to have turned in to a typical teenager not terrible things but bad enough. We personally have never had any trouble with him and he seems to listen to us. Over the last couple of months he seems to have got himself together, taken up fishing again and was pleased to hear this week that he has a trial for the County Football team next week through playing for the school. He played a lot up until a couple of years ago for a Sunday team but then seemed to lose interest but he is quite sporty and the school he goes to is a sport orientated school and he plays just about everything. Unfortunately he did get a trial but at the time was unwell due to being kicked in the head by a girl at school and suffered quite bad facial injuries so he only managed a few minutes on the pitch. There should be another one this year 2001.
When we went to Euro Disney earlier this year and I ended up in a wheelchair through new medication for blood pressure which did not agree with me he volunteered to push me and made what was something a bit upsetting for me into fun. Racing with Grandad in his chair was a bit hair raising at times mind you, depending on who was pushing Grandad.
All in all I think he is a nice lad and if he fulfils his potential could go far as he is a bright boy.
He has told me that if I put any more of these pictures of when he was younger on he will sue me. He is at the moment camera shy and it is very hard to catch him, at Hollies farewell bash his Uncle Kevin held on to him so we did get one and I think we caught him at Christmas as well. We do not se as much of him as we used to as of course being a teenager he does his own thing most of the time. |
