"Now I look just like you Grandad"
These pictures were taken on Jan 9th 2001. Joseph is now going ahead with his vocabulary very well but when you don't understand something he gets very frustrated. He is very interested in his new baby cousins but gets them mixed up. He also thinks they can already play with him. He still leaves a trail behind him of half eaten food but June and Nigel are restricting him a bit more so that he eats his meals properly
Joseph June 2001. fell of the slide and had an argument with the ground
July 2nd. In these last six months Joseph has gone ahead very quickly. He got"clean" in a week. When he was ready!!! he can talk the hind leg of a donkey, but at the moment it is a lot of "whats that or this" Next no doubt will be "Why?" he mixes very well with other children so I don't think June will have any trouble getting him to nursery in January. He loves his little cousins and no longer gets them confused. Mainly as June looks after Molly two days a week. Trouble is he wants to share his biscuit or whatever he has at the time with her and she is not quite ready for that yet. He loves his Grandad and is quite happy to come here when necessary. He is in to kicking at the moment trouble was he picked on me to do it to. I dont think he will do it again as he is not used to me telling him off. He is very bright though. But then all of June's boys are.

He is an avid video watcher. For some reason he hates wearing shoes and we all have great dificulty getting him to keep them on. |

Molly and Joseph May 2002
May 2002 Joseph has now been going to Playgroup in the mornings for 5 months and he loves it. He has come along in leaps and bounds, talks well and lots!! Still a grandads boy and sometimes when the babies are here at the same time "the green eyed monster" appears, but he loves the babies. We sometimes pick him up from playgroup and he then comes with me to pick Molly up and her little face lights up when she sees him. He holds her hand and calls her his" sweetie pie" Where he has got that expression we have no idea. Their favourite game is to sit in my swivel chair and have someone push them round and round. There is a lot of giggling, but as you see he holds on to her so she does not fall off.
