| Update September 2001. This year so far has I think been a fairly good year for Brian. He has seen Hollie on a regular basis on his long weekends and usually picks her up and goes down to Fran and Allan's in Devon. He has settled into the Floor Managers job very well. Earlier in the year when applications were asked for one of the staff to run the Christmas display for this year he was chosen, mainly as apart from his customer relations skills he has been with CMK a long time. He is now busy doing interviews for "Santa's little helpers" (one of which could be his sister-in-law Lisa) He went away to Spain for a week with Hollie in August, joining up with Fran,Allan and the children who were already out there. Next year in February he is going to Disney Florida again. |

| About amonth after his father died Brian dropped the bombshell that he and Jules were planning to emigrate to new Zealand. My first words when I stopped crying were stupidly "why not say before dad died" but of course we did not know he was going to. As time passed I was dreading it lots of tears but they have now been gone 2 months and I have come to terms with it, we keep in touch by email,phone and chat. In February we as a family arranged a farewell party for them at Caldecotte. I managed to get hold of Richard who has been mates with all three boys and that was a surprise for Brian. We had a really good night the restaurant did a good job by cordoning off the top floor. I am hoping at some point in the future someone in the family decides to go and I will tag along I don't think I could manage it alone. Pictures from this night are to be found in Caldecotte page. |
