Okay. So this is the part where I yak and yak about myself. Olo. Haha! So where do I start? I guess with the basics. For those who have no idea who I am, let me introduce myself. I am Jean R. Natividad, a Junior Journalism student at the University of the Philippines - Diliman. And while we're at it, I better confess that this site was made to fulfill one of my course requirements. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed a lot working on this site. Perhaps next that I can tell you are the things that interest me. I enjoy watching films although you can't always see me in the cinemas. I especially like films that show being human at its most natural, emotions at their truest, and the beauty of nature at its finest. Those that can pinch my heart are the most unforgettable ones. I also like to read books, novels to be exact. I can scan the pages of books from psychological thrillers to romance to chick lits to fantasy. And yes, I'm a part of the Twilight bandwagon! I am also interested in photography. I enjoy looking at photography books while at my friendly neighborhood bookstore. And I try to snap some shots with the hope of capturing the heats of different moments, sceneries, emotions, and people. As much as I am interested in life stories, I am also interested in the people behind them. I like to make friends and discover different personalities. One of the most satisfying feelings is when I know that I've gained a friend who's willing to share a piece of his or her heart to me and include me in his or her life. And now I talk about my first love: writing. For as long as I can remember, I have always resulted in writing whenever I wanted to express my emotions. Talking about them was only secondary. I found great relief whenever I wrote down my thoughts and feelings. And today, I feel exactly the same way if not stronger. I know more now. Now, writing is not just about expressing myself, but about serving people. Writing is more than for personal gain now. It is about the concern for the people's interests. It is about giving more of myself to others. Early on, I knew that writing is something I would forever do. I may find myself in different fields someday, but writing will never leave my heart. These are just some of the things about me. From the basic to the somewhat intimate, I hope you have come to understand me even a bit. I will let my entries speak more about me and I hope that somehow, my stories can reflect your own. |
