Our friends complained about not being on the site, so...

Here's our favorite donkey foal, Von Stein. He lives at the Memphis Zoo with Terry, his mom, and Horatio, his dad.

Terry is usually the shy one, but on this day she let Von come out for the paparazzi.

This proud little kid is Kukla, the official goat of the Zoo.

Kukla stars in educational programs at the farm because of his small size:-)

My favorite Exotic Breed: The Caspian

These beauties are Caspian horses. Only about 750 exist worldwide, and the memphis Zoo is lucky enough to have 3!

Hisan is an 11 year old mare. She is rose grey and has an absolutely GORGEOUS head. At her side is Xerxes, her 1997 foal.

This is an old pic of Xerk, who was the first Caspian born in a U.S. zoo. He is very playful and the volunteers just love him!

Hidden Meadows Holy Smoke & Joe Burrows 1996 MSFSmoke was the 1994 AMHR WGC Amateur Senior Stallion. Sadly, he went to greener pastures in winter 1997. Uncle Joe never got over the loss. Smoke left behind a legacy of wonderful foals that carry his unusual "faded pinto" coloring. We miss you, Smokey!

Lancaster's Special Moonlight Magic---The most beautiful buckskin I have ever seen!

Magic is also owned by Connie Newkirk, and how lucky she is! Magic is a multi-National champ, with awards from both registries as well as several Supremes. Magic is pictured with Connie during one of those Supreme Halter classes!
