Donatello is the quietest of the turtles. His demeanor is always soft-spoken and thoughtful. He would rather talk things through than fight. He is also a self taught genius. He has an uncanny ability to fix or improve almost anything, and his skills have proven to be useful in dangerous situations. He is most likely to be found in his "lab" or "work area", working on something or lost on his computer.
My take -
Donatello, it is obvious to me, would rather beat the bad guys with his brains, not his bo. Well, most of the time. :) (Sometimes they deserve it!) I think, out of all of them, he likes this lifestyle the least. Being scientific, as he is, he may have a harder time dealing with the fact that the creation of the ooze was an accident. I also think, that, out of all of them, he is the least "into" ninjistu. Now, don't get me wrong, they're all really great, but maybe, it's just not as important to him. For Leo, it's his life. Mike is a natural athlete, and Raph is a natural scrapper, he wants to be as good as Leo. But Don... Sometimes I think he'd rather be somewhere else. Typing at his computer, or fixing something. They're all talented in their art. He's just as good as the others. But maybe it's not where he's the most... comfortable, shall we say.
Don is the most soft-spoken of his brothers. Slow to show his anger, he and Leo are the most calm and collected. Don's also really emotional (they all are) but shows it less than Mike, and more than Leo. He tries to stay out of his brother's fights, and quietly observes them until he has something to say. Not that he doesn't have a temper, it just takes him longer to heat up. He may be the quiet one, but when he does have something to say, people should listen.
