A Books Cover
You’ve heard it all your life
“Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”
But through the years I’ve learned something
There’s one book like no other
The cover can be blue, white, red, or gray
It can be old and tattered, yet it still shows the way
The Bible is of course the book of which I speak
It can make the strongest men cry, yet bring strength
to the meek
God’s message is inside, words strong and bold
They can fill your spirit with a wealth richer than gold
The story from Genesis to Revelations end
It’s where suffering can stop, and salvation begin
You often here of the strength of this book
But for you to decide you have to look
Yes, I’m here to witness that there is no other
The Bible is the only book you can judge by its’ cover
