Four Little Geese

Three little geese ran, "Quack, quack, quack!".

But a forth little goose took his time way back.

Down the road the three went just as fast as they could.

But the forth saw a flower, so there he stood.

Suddenly a cat, jumped down from a tree.

What a terrible end now faced the three.

There were honks and howls! Oh! What a fight.

The three tumbled around in a very great fright.

The forth saw the trouble and came on the run.

It bit the cat’s tail, and the old cat was done.

The forth goose was the hero, for it saved the day.

Because it won the fight when the cat ran away.

Now the three walk along, not quite so fast anymore.

The forth takes it’s time, just as before.

But the three don’t hurry, for to them it’s plain.

Sometimes it’s a good thing, that we’re not all the same.
