Politics
You may think my purpose for this section is to try to convince you to vote for members of my political party. Thats not it at all! Rather, my purpose here is to provide information that you may use to educate yourself on the most important issues of the day. Unlike others, its my preference that you dont vote at all if you dont understand the issues. Many of our Founding Fathers preferred to have only land owners vote, which is clearly too restrictive. But, its rather obvious today that many Americans dont understand the issues well enough to vote. We tend to treat elections as popularity contents -- voting for individuals who bring us "good news." We have few politicians who are willing to tell us the truth, and just as few voters willing to vote for the truth.
