| why do I play the 'cello, when all the music I listen to is played by guitars? I borrow a guitar spring 94, Kurts dead, I work out how to play 'my girl' by the temptations. Teens were effort. Hard time in catholic school.. Tunes keep me sane. Hanging on by a thread. In debt to those bands who helped me in hell; Alice in chains, the god machine, Hole, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden & Metallicas-ride the lightening album particularly for the F.U. encouragement throught the 3rd year... These are the ones that REALLy matter. These were the bands I would call my main influences. Casual jams & bedroom-songs take a toll. I'm 18 before I play in public. Open mics in local sides. I found my feet there, & played just about every week for a few months until it closed down. I spoke to my good friend about starting a band, I saw a shooting star. We formed conTRast. I recruited the rest of the band & we a relationship of 2 and a half years began. conTRast story here . we played good music. We created a buzz that people still remember us for. A brief stint alone, followed by Lik Grass Sik, & alone again.. Now finally a new band have been born. JUDY FIGHTS BACK I put my name to 5 years ago. Now they have a sound, you can hear it on myspace...& very soon, LIVE at a venue near you... See you soon... |
