The Lord allows you to eb tempted, that you may be continually perfected in Christ Jesus.

God's goal in your everyday life is to make you more like his Son, Jesus.

He also knows what you will do before you do it. Is He showing you your weaknesses and strengths in order for you to realize your complete dependence on Him?

"But He knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold." -Job23:10
     (Please let me be found as pure gold, Lord)

REALIZE THIS:
"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man..." -1 Corinthians 10:13a
     ~We're all in the same boat; we're all being tested through temptation.

"And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear..." -1 Corinthians 10:13b

He remembers you're as dust; He won't ever crush you. He challenges you, so that when you abide in Him, He can jump for joy as your cheerleader; He's your biggest fan!

"But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." -1 Corinthians 10:13c

You can stand up under anything with a belief and trust in Christ! He is your strength.

     ~Lord, I walk out every day, only to have the world tug at my coat sleeves all day, begging me to join it in sin. Lord, I'm not a child of this world; please keep me near to you always. In my darkest hours of temptation, convict my spirit to lean on you alone for deliverance. Thank you for the amazing treasure I have in Jesus!

"Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted." -Hebrews 2:18

He went through it all for you; to show you His love!! A man filled with sorrows and grief.

"For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, jsut as we are--yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." -Hebrews 4:15,16

The testing of your faith through trials and temptations produces perseverance and character. God is actively working on something in your life EVERY DAY! Look for that.

"Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings." -1 Peter 5:8,9

Stand fast in Him!

     ~As I go out into the day tomorrow, please guide my steps (Isaiah 30:21) that I may walk in your will. Please let me be an instrument that glorifies you! And if it's your will, I make myself available to be used by you for evangelism and sharing your incredible love, mercy, and grace. Please let me hear you. I love you, Lord.
