In the name of God, amen. Oct 25, In the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine. I, ANN WISDOM, of the State of North Carolina and County of Wilkes, widow, being in a low state of health, but in perfect mind and memory, thanks be unto God for the same, and calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament.

That is to say primarily and first of all I give and recommend my soul unto the hand of God that gave it, and as concerning my body, I commend it unto the earth to be buried at the direction of my friends, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give, divide, dispose in manner and form following, that is to say, in the first place I give and bequeath to my son, THOMAS WISDOM, an equal share of my estate and ANN STONE, also an equal share of my estate, and SARAH RUCKER, an equal share of my estate, also TABITHIA SUTTON, an equal share of my estate, also, CLARY HARDIN, an equal share of my estate, also CALEY BUTIN, an equal share of my estate, also, SALEY WISDOM, an equal share of my estate, also one bed and furniture and all my wearing apparel, also, LARANCE BRADLY, to have my son, JOSEPH WISDOM'S share which he has paid him for to my knowledge, also, JOHN WISDOM to have five shillings. Also, MARY BURRIS, five shillings of my estate, also SUSANNAH WISDOM to have five shillings of my estate, also DRUCILA BRADLEY'S children to have her equal share divided amongst and also RACHEL BRADLEY'S children to have her equal share divided amongst them, also WINNEY BRADLEY to have an equal share of my estate or at her decease to be equally divided amongst her children. FRANCIS WISDOM to have five shillings of my estate, and also my will is that SUE and OSIA may not be parted and that some of my children would purchase them and I also do hereby utterly disallow, revoke and disavow all and every other form Testaments, Wills, and Legasies, and Executors by me in any way before this time named, willed and bequeathed, ratified and confirmed, this and no other to be my last will and testament and also I do constitute and appoint LARANCE BRADLEY and LEWIS CARLTON, ESQ. to be the Executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day and year first above written. ANN WISDOM, (her mark). Sined, sealed in presence of A. ALLEN, (his mark), JOHN WALKER, (his mark). The above will was duly proven in open court by the oath of ANNANIAS ALLEN & JOHN WALKER. Test. WILLIAM B. ________.
