LOUIS ALEXANDER was the son of James Heath & nancy E. Barrow, and the grandson of Mrs. Cynthia Gunn. Rachel Susan Kersh Barrow was the daughter of Andrew Frederick and Minerva Apphira Buckner Kersh and was born in Rankin Co., MS on 23 Aug 1861. At the age of 16, she married William A. Hoskins, son of Tabitha and William Hoskins. They had one little girl, called 'Little Willie' who died when quite young. William lived about a year after his marriage. Susan married second to Louis Alexander (Alec) Barrow. His home was in Chambers Co., AL and they lived there a short while. Their first child was Nancy Xiemena, who died at age 3 and is buried in Chambers Co., AL. The Susan and Alex moved to West Point, GA. They had two more children, both boys: Lewis James & Lennis Horsley. Lennis worked for the city all of his life, as did his son. Both James Lewis and Lennis had only one child each: Lennis had a son, and James Lewis a daughter. James Lewis retired very early, and lived on returns of his investments. He had a home workshop which he enjoyed and he was a machinist, garageman and inventor. Susan's and Alec's grandchildren still live in or near West Point.
