Endurance
Endurance is one of the first qualities beginners recognise as being advantageous in the early stages of training when they see the black belts spinning and jumping and throwing head height kicks at one another after training for an hour when they can barely can move their feet.  Running is the simple way to increase basic endurance, but circuit training has a more specific value for the taekwondo practitioner.
- Jog. Pace yourself.  You should not be exhausted after you jog

-
Stair Sprints. Run up 3 flights of stairs and walk down.  This can be substituted with    sprinting uphill for 25 yards.  Also develops speed.

-
Heavy Bag. Practise as if you were fighting an opponent.  Pratcise punching, kicking,    footwork.  Do not do spinning kicks on a heavy bag, use a focus pad instead.

-
Skipping Rope. Do this, it works!  Get a good jump rope, good shoes, and JUMP!

-
Knee Hops. Thrust your knee up high and forward, and lunge forward, alternating
knees until you have lunged 25 yards.
