CNS fluid of 52-year old female with meningeal irritation signs:
Acute myelocytic leukemic (AML) meningeal infiltration

The Papanicolaou stained smears show a great number of blast cells with clefts and grooves, and a pale regular chromatin pattern. The patient has AML and she is receiving chemotherapy.
