500x M-G-G staining, predominance of lymphocytes

This is the demonstration of the cytological findings in a fetal pleural fluid. This case shows a predominance of lymphocytes, most of them small mature looking, a few macrophages and monocytes. Scarce mesothelial cells. The mother was discharged with the diagnosis of nonimmune hydrops fetalis, before we could do additional studies.
