| March 27/02 -We had a great March Break, the boys got to visit with everyone and we were very happy to see the babies. -Conrad came home to another wonderful report card, with even more A's this time. -we bought our first DVD's today (Scooby Doo and Osmosis Jones) for the boys' easter presents. -we STILL have TONS of snow!!!! -the boys are looking for to seeing Pam and Lindy next weekend ( and Elliot Moose) and they are hoping that Lola comes too. |
| April 12/02 holy cow, I haven't done this since Mar 27!!!! well, on with the news -happy birthday Auntie Lindy, she's getting to be a big girl now -we had a nice Easter dinner at grandma and papa's - pam, lindy and bruce (moose) were there as well as some of grandma and papa's wild friends (they can get pretty loud!!!) -the boys had a nice Easter, not too much chocolate (until they got to grandma's) and they each got their own baseball glove and baseball -Caelan has an MRI in toronto May 16, so we'll probably go down for his birthday and stay until May 17 -yesterday I was walking upstairs and since it was 20 degrees outside our windows were all open and all of a sudden I hear a little girl's voice yelling, "Caaaaaaaa-lan, Caaaaaaaa-lan," I told Caelan maybe he should go to the window and the next thing I heard was Caelan yelling out the window, "hurry up, I'm in my underwear here" - anyway, Caelan went outside and played with Kianna and he's out again today - I've seen less of him over the past two days than I have of Conrad!!! | Caelan is also going to Sunday School with Kianna tomorrow. Conrad has a birthday party today for his friend Sierra, it's a hockey party so I'm sure he'll have fun. He's not feeling so good but he thinks he can make it (I'm sure he'd feel differently if it were a school day). |

| May 1/02 We went on a nice day trip to Manitoulin Island with Grandma and Papa, after a wonderful day we saw a silver fox and 2 moose on our way home - grandma got out on the highway to take pictures!! We have 4 days until we go hear Jane Goodall speak at Laurentian University and Conrad's teacher has asked him to give a speech about it next week. Conrad is into marbles now, it's the "big thing" at school, and Caelan's pretty good at it too. John and Toni are moving to Winnipeg, Toni leaves May 15th so we'll be able to see them when we're down there this month. Conrad had a friend from school over on the weekend who started a fight with the Manson family boy across the street (I don't think he'll be coming back over for awhile) and Caelan had Kianna over to play. We put stone borders around our gardens, and hopefully we'll see some flowers soon! Me and the boys are TOTALLY hooked on the Amazing Race II so that's our big thing to do on Friday nights, they get to stay up and watch it. ALSO-Caelan has been doing a wonderful job keeping his room clean, it's been clean for 2 weeks now!! It's education week at school this week, so the following events have occurred: Monday- Conrad went to school with green hair for wacky hair day; Caelan had "twins" day, they were supposed to bring one of their teddy bears with them, so Caelan dressed up as a cop and his teddy went to school in handcuffs. Tuesday- Conrad had school colours day (blue and white) which he had no interest in; Caelan had "dots and daisies" day, he went to school with daisies painted on his face and decorated with some dots Wednesday-Conrad had "inside out day" which he didn't want to do, but he also had "Lego" day, and the kids could bring in lego displays, so Conrad built an Amazon research station; Caelan had his wacky hair day today so he had his hair spikey and green. |
