| monday january 28/02 today caelan is home with an eye infection (he's fine but he's contagious) - he's enjoying the day off |

| feb 1/02 well, this week we got caelan's report card - which was perfect. They didn't give grades/marks but he received the highest possible in every category!!!! So basically - he got straight A's. Conrad presented his speech at school for the public speaking competition, he wasn't nervous, and the judges will make their decision next week. Today we received a large portion of snow - that will make for a fun weekend. |

| feb 6/02 -so, Conrad didn't win the public speaking competition at school, but he said the girl who won was really good. -George will be here on Friday, the boys are anxiously awaiting his arrival!!!! -the boys got a package in the mail today from grandma mira - they were very excited about that!!!!!!! -a little story about Caelan : Conrad had this cheap little clock from the dollar store, it lasted a couple months, fell apart, no big deal. Well, Caelan comes home from school the other day and tells us that he told his teacher that his brother BROKE HIS clock on him and didn't even care!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then Conrad and Caelan were across the street with Kianna and her brother, and Kianna goes up to Conrad and says "why did you break your brother's clock, that wasn't very nice" Conrad says " i didn't and it wasn't even his clock". Kianna said "yes you did, he even told our teacher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" |
| Feb 13/02 -George arrived on Friday night and the boys have been having a great visit -Conrad had Feast Day at school on Monday where they held an inner school 'olympics' - Conrad's team was Switzerland and they won a prize for best mascot (a mouse with a swiss cheese body) -Caelan was happy to have George see him get on his bus -tomorrow is Valentine's day and Caelan is excited about receiving all his cards at school -Conrad is handing out Spiderman valentines and Caelan is handing out Elliot Moose |

| feb 22/02 -some big news!!!!! Kim had her baby Feb.16 at 4:33 am, another little girl - Isabelle, she was 7 lbs 6 oz - we can't wait to see her -last Sunday we took the boys to an indoor Pow Wow, and can those boys dance!!! Oh yes, they took part in the intertribal dances and danced around with the Indians (by the way, they don't call themselves Native-Canadians, so no politically correct reminders to Jen please) They had lots of fun dancing, they ate an Indian Taco and papa bought them each a cool souvenir. Thanks for taking us papa!! -also, we will be going on vacation soon, the boys are taking an extra week off for march break so they can have lots of time to visit with everyone. - we also went to see Snow Dogs last weekend, the boys give it 2 thumbs up!! -we are still anxiously awaiting another baby, Toni is due anytime now. The boys will have 2 new babies to visit on their vacation. |
| feb 28/02 -Toni had the baby, a baby boy -Harper Lee -our vacation is approaching -we watched the men's olympic hockey game with papa and grandma and had a lot of fun watching Canada win!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
