This is a beautiful place beside my city. The river is the Petitcodiac.
It is mainly a French Acadian area. Across the river is mostly English-speaking (Hillsborough). |

The Petitcodiac river is muddy and it's where the famous high tides occur. "Petit" is French for "small" and "codiac" is an aboriginal (Micmac Indian) word meaning "river". |
