NANCY'S REVIEW OF BEEN RIETVELD MYSTERY OF FAITH I love instrumentals! I love Benny's CD ... It's hard to pick a favorite ... as each song puts me into a different mood. It's Jazzy, funky, relaxing, passionate, soulful, etc., a little bit of everything... I love the originality of Benny's style in expressing his power of sound. The combination of great playing, a wide variety of material, and pristine sound quality, make this CD a winner. the mood and climate of these songs, all the musical balance combined provides a level of energy & a gentle contrast, that takes you into a musical journey. The spirit here is loose and adventurous. Layering all these sounds together is like a physical and spiritual release, freedom form of artistic human expressions which conveys a musical element of these unique artists to reach into the heart & mind of listeners alike ... Love Benny's bass solo in "Desert Skies"... "Kahi Lai" ... makes me wish I was on any beautiful island anywhere, holding hands and walking on the soft sands of the earth. Hey "Mr. Tambourine Man ... play a song for me ... in the jingle jangle morning I'll come followin' you ... Let me forget about today until tomorrow ... Yes, a beautiful voice echoing Thu my stereo. "Sea Of Stories" a beautiful performance by Carlos Santana ... love the sounds of the acoustic guitar & of course Carlos' classic signature electric guitar, that makes you have goose bumps all thru your heart ... "Rope Dancers" spirits rising dancing in the flesh ... "Anybody There?" a smoky filled club, lights down low, back ground smooth, and the musicians grooving out their hearts content. Rodney Holmes ... Kari, you've said it all ... Rodney, is a unique artist w/ a brilliant sound so well assembled together. Tom Coster on the accordion ... well, I get a little sentimental when listening to this instrument, as my Dad had his own band when I was a small girl & he took me everywhere to watch him play the accordion. Ah, I could go on about every song ... Benny, Rodney, Tom, Carlos, and all the other musicians on this CD, all are great, fantastic & fabulous! Benny, Your CD is Awesome! I Love it! Nancy The Dave Matthews Band- Everyday The Dave Matthews Band Everyday I truly love this band, I just regret waiting so long to buy one of their cds. I became more interested in this band when I heard them on the Supernatural CD with Carlos Santana. I then bought their new cd �Everyday� wow this group is awesome, it�s just great listening to this band, this band is very good. I just get this good feeling about them. They remind me of a time when I used to go to the near by stadium and listen to these bands. They would play jazzy rock music and just made people happy. That�s the feeling I get from this band a true, honest, and classy band. These are some of the songs that I have been enjoying. I Did It- This song is very catchy, you will get hooked every time. I love the guitar playing on this one. When the World Ends- Wow this song is deep, Dave is a talented man. Then the song ends just like that. It really does. The Space Between- This song is favored by a lot of people since this is one most played by the radio. This ballad is very soulful. Dreams of Our Fathers- This song seems to stay on my mind, it�s very heart warming and it really rocks. What You Are-� What you�ve become� wow kind of haunting but I like it, the instruments are great. Fool to Think- Love Leroi on sax and Boyd on violins very classy sounds. There is something about Boyd on violin it�s just in my heart. I keep playing this one over and over. Mother Father- Featuring Carlos Santana I really get a soothing feeling when I hear Carlos playing his guitar on this one, and Karl Perrazo is also jamming with Dave. I want to hear some more... Everyday- Is just so pleasant to me. Vusi Mahlasela is also on this little number. Excellent stuff all we need is love. Yeah...everyday Dave Matthews did wonders when he formed this band in 1991, the chemistry, the bonding of these musicians just makes you come back for more. You really get a little bit of everything from these musicians rock, pop, jazzy sounds call it anything you want it�s soothing music for your soul. I hope you will enjoy their music as much as I did.
