Wow, it's been a year already! Michael and Michelle celebrate their first birthday today. I am going to visit them in a few days so I will put up some pictures when I get back. Can't wait to see those little munchkins!!!
I'm thankful for so many things and I wanted to share my feelings with everyone who has read this far in my journal.
Last year when Michael was born, we were so scared about his future. It was such a sad time to see such a beatiful baby boy in the hospital having to go through surgeries, medications, being away from his parents and sister. And today, although the future is still somewhat uncertain, Michael has shown us all how strong and happy he really is. To see him, you would never know that he's been through so much in his life already, he's so full of life at such a young age. He is an amazing little boy. Everyone that sees him notices the sparkle in his big brown eyes. And best of all, he gets to spend his first birthday with his family who love him so much. And in a few days his Tummy Mommy will see him to so she can give him a hug in person!!!
And Michelle, could there be a more beautiful baby girl??? She's such a happy little soul. She's an amazing little girl. Can't wait to give her a great big hug too.
It really warms my heart to see them all together, a family of four, where last year it was half that size. I have been so blessed that Doug and Kay have come into my life as well. They have done so much to keep me in touch with how everyone is doing and have done so many things to let me know how much they really appreciate me. I can always count on regular updates and pictures, and I love getting them! Yesterday a big beautiful flower arrangement was delivered to my home to say "Thinking of You" I loved them. So I want to thank them here for everyone to see, not just for the things they've done for me, but for being such great parents to the twins. That is the best gift of all.
So everyone say a big Happy Birthday to Michael and Michelle! I'm a very proud Tummy Mommy today!
