| May 19, 2002 I got some pictures developed yesterday and there were some of the kids on Deb and Henry's farm. There was also one of my surrogate friend, Melanie, and her son Gavin. Here they are |

| Today I am making greek salad, I can't seem to get enough of it! Yummy. Can't wait till supper. I'm having a lot of the same symptoms I had when I was pregnant with Michael and Michelle. The fatigue, and I'm waking up at around 7am and can't get back to sleep. This is very strange for me, as I'm usually a person who sleeps in as long as I possibly can. I'm 5 weeks 3 days pregnant May 20, 2002 I have so many different cravings lately it's hard to keep track. Yesterday it was canned tuna, which is odd for me because I NEVER eat tuna. So I made myself a sandwich with tuna, pickles, and black olives, yummy. I mentioned yesterday that I was going to make greek salad. I was supposed to take it over to my Mother-in-law's house for supper. So I went to make it up that morning, leaving the dressing on the side so it didn't get soggy, and as I was mixing the dressing I got a big wiff of it and started gagging. It was making me ill. So I told Jason I couldn't make the salad, and I didn't even want him to make it because I wouldn't be able to eat supper if I smelled it. Of course, by about 2pm that had passed and I wanted it again, lol. So I made it up and ate lots of it last night. How odd. My pants are getting tight. I weighed myself to make sure it wasn't just me gaining weight, but it isn't. Haven't gained a pound, but all my pants are tight. I'm not big enough for maternity clothes, I'd look pretty silly wearing them right now, but my regular pants just don't feel good. Woke up early again today, and of course am tired today. Oh well, the kids are gone today so I can have a nap! I'm 5 weeks 4 days pregnant May 23, 2002 I bought a maternity shirt yesterday. I don't really need a maternity shirt yet, but I wanted a long t-shirt to cover up the panel on my maternity jeans (all but one pair of my regular pants are too tight now!), but I thought that I'll need to wear maternity shirts in another month or two anyway, so instead of just buying a long shirt I bought the maternity one. So hear I am at 6 weeks along and in maternity clothes! Still a little tired, but not as bad in the last day or two. I'm worried I may gain too much weight in the beginnning this time because I'm so hungry all the time. So hopefully the cravings will calm down soon. No gender guess yet. This pregnancy doesn't feel like my son's or my daughter's, but almost exactly like the twins. So who knows, maybe I'll have one of each again! I never thought it was twins before, but with the belly popping out so soon and the same symptoms it makes me wonder. I'm 6 weeks pregnant May 25, 2002 I have a cold so I'm feeling yucky today. I'm back to thinking it's probably just one baby. But I still have no guess for the gender. I think this is a stubborn baby and just doesn't want to give me any signs so I can figure it out. I'm 6 weeks 2 days pregnant May 27, 2002 My cold is getting better now. The last couple of days have just been nasty. I don't think it would have been such a bad cold, but I couldn't take anything for it so I just had no relief. And I couldn't get any sleep the first night either because I was so stuffed up I was up every 10 minutes blowing my nose--yuck. Thankfully today is better. This pregnancy is really easy so far. I know, I'm only 6 1/2 weeks, but so far it doesn't even really feel like I'm pregnant. It would be wonderful if it stayed so easy. I'm 6 weeks 4 days pregnant. |
