The human form is beautiful
As a gay man I am partial to men, but as a photographer I seek each person's uniqueness, both in women as well as men. It may be found anywhere from the head to the toes, the whole body or in parts of the body, nude or clothed, by ones or in groups. My quest is to seek how to connect the print with the viewer and how to move the viewer to feel a common identity with the model. My work is serious, but I also try to express the human comedy. I work in black & white not only for its capacity to express drama but also for the flexibility it provides me when creating a print in the darkroom.
I usually produce at least one print from the negative, but multiples of different sizes are also available More explicit photos are not shown in this exhibition. Please contact me if you are interested in that.
