Preparing for class

To learn the most from our course, prepare for and participate in each class. Prepare for each class by completing the readings and the assignments listed below before class; participate by arriving on time and actively doing the class activities in a professional manner.

Readings

The chapter readings listed below are in The Curious Reader unless specified otherwise. All readings should be completed before class. Bring The Curious Reader to all classes, and bring A Writer's Reference to those classes specified in the schedule below.

With some overlap, our class activities are scheduled to accompany the following assignment modules:

Assignments should be completed before class; assignment deadlines occur at the beginning of class on the day under which they are listed below, unless specified otherwise. Not included in this schedule are One-Minute Quizzes accompanying most readings and several other activities with a significant in-class component; these will usually be due during class time.
