Corn Soup

1 dozen ears of corn, cleaned & cut off the cob
3 tbsp. Oil
½ # ham
about 1/8 # spaghetti
salt & pepper
1 can of tomato sauce
2 lrg. Potatoes, peeled & cubed
6 cups of water

Saute corn & onion in oil till starting to brown, add sauce, then water. Add ham & cook about 20 minutes. Add potatoes & spaghetti (break the spaghetti in 3 before adding). Cook till tender & add salt & pepper. Can also add whole corn on the cob & boil in soup. It makes soup even better. This soup is so good, you really should try it! And if you serve it with Mama's fresh baked bread, or her fried' flawns', you will feel like it's a feast fit for a king.
