BETTY'S SMOTHERED STEAK AND GRAVY
1 ½ pound round steak, cubed
1 large onion
Flour
2 tablespoons oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 ½ to 2 cups water
Roll steak lightly in flour. Brown on both sides in oil. Add onions, and brown. Add salt, pepper, garlic and water. Cook till
tender over low heat. Serve over rice. This does not need to be soupy. Medium thick gravy.
