BETTY'S YUMMY FRIED SHRIMP

1 pound shrimp tails
1/4 cup buttermilk
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 egg
Salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Flour

Clean & de-vain shrimp, leaving last section of tail on, if you wish. Sprinkle on all the seasonings. Cover & refrigerate for a couple of hours. Mix egg & buttermilk and roll shrimp in it, then into the flour. Fry in hot grease till brown, about 2 or 3 minutes. Drain and eat.
