Return To The Crafty Granny's Family Cookbook
Once, when I was real young, & staying with Aunt Laura, the money situation was very tight & food was very limited. It was
time to fix supper for 4 people. Aunt Laura found a piece of hamburger meat about the size of a large orange, a can of tomato
sauce, 1/2 of a small onion, about 1/4 pound of macaroni, and a small amount of dry onion soup mix. She cooked all that
together, along with a few of her spices & loving touch, and made the best goulash I've ever had. I still remember it after 30
years.------------------Connie Norris

1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons Worchester
Cook beef in large skillet until it looses redness. Remove & cut in skillet the raw macaroni, onion & fresh green pepper if you
have it. Cook, stirring as needed until macaroni is yellow. Return meat to skillet with all the rest of the ingredients, cover &
simmer 15 minutes or till macaroni is tender.
