LELI'S STRAWBERRY & 7-UP PIE

1 large (10 inch) baked pie shell, cooled

Cook' till thick:

2 cups of 7-UP
2 cups of sugar
8 tablespoons of cornstarch

Remove from heat & add 3 oz. of strawberry Jell-O powder, stir well. Add 4 cups of sliced, fresh strawberries. Mix well, pour into prepared pie shell. Cover top with 9 oz. carton of Cool Whip. Make a day ahead of time & put in the refrigerator. Is a big help to keep this pie made up in the refrigerator in the springtime.
