LELI'S STRAWBERRY SHORTCUT CAKE
1 cup miniature marshmallows
2 cup frozen strawberries in syrup thawed
1 box strawberry jello powder
2 ¼ cup sifted flour
½ cup Crisco
1 ½ cup sugar
3 tsp. Baking powder
½ tsp. Salt
1 cup milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
3 eggs
Generously grease bottom of a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle the marshmallows on bottom of pan. Thoroughly combine the
strawberries, syrup & gelatin in bowl. Set aside. In large mixing bowl, combine rest of ingredents. Blend at low speed until
moistened. Then beat 3 minutes at medium speed, scraping sides of bowl. Pour batter over marshmallows. Spread strawberry
mixture evenly over batter. Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes, until golden brown. This is really simple, fast and delicious.
