Individual Service Project

Each member of the National Honor Society is expected to be a community servant.  This is demonstrated through voluntary contributions made by each member to the school or community, done without compensation and with a positive, courteous, and enthusiastic spirit.  Each member is expected to undertake a service project within the community independent form NHS.  Your project should benefit both the community and you as you participate in it.  The project may be thought of and organized by you personally or you may come along side a group that is already and established to achieve a specific goal, (such as Habitat for Humanity, or the Union Rescue Mission).  Participation in another community service group with a nonspecific goal (clubs similar to NHS such as Interact, Share or Key Club) should not be considered your individual service project.

If you have any questions feel free to ask Mr. Crowther or One of the officers
